This 400% efficient 8.5kW Ultra Quiet air source heat pump replaced the existing electric boiler and now supplies all the home’s heating and hot water demand.
GreenGenUK was first approached by the customer shortly after they had purchased the property. The task was to find a more efficient, cost-effective way to power their new home.
The customer contacted GreenGenUK because of our background and MCS-accreditation in a number of renewable technologies. With this, GreenGen were able to devise the most financially and environmentally beneficial solutions with the customer.
This Ecodan and solar PV installation now provides all of the home’s heating demand and minimises their electricity demand. The installations were undertaken as part of wider renovations at the property. With the scale of the works being undertaken, both air source and solar PV could be integrated neatly into the household
Previously heated by oil, the customer was keen to incorporate air source heating and solar PV into their project. The idea was to minimise the home’s energy bills and carbon footprint.
A battery storage install in Perranwell – having already installed a large solar PV array through GreenGenUK, the Perranwell-based customer was keen to add battery backup to their solar array to further reduce grid demand and their energy bills.
The customer recontacted GreenGenUK to discuss alternative storage solutions. The decision to opt for a Powerwall was quickly realised.
